Yes, if you missed it, Wednesday was International Social Media Day. Created by Mashable, a website dedicated to news about social media, technology and web culture, International Social Media Day was celebrated in 90 countries around the world. Here in our backyard, Boston held one of the 10 largest celebrations in the world.
At the Meetup event, speakers talked about the importance of social media for business, education, community and even dating. A great video was produced by a successful local entrepreneur, JaNae Duane, discussing the state of social media in entrepreneurship and its impact and ability to help build your business. The take away from this unique celebration of the social media revolution is that your business and clients need to become active participants.
